I’m looking for a quality appetite suppressant and something to help with cravings. I work out almost every day, lift heavy a couple of times per week, do plenty of cardio / boxing / MMA / HIIT type of training and I am a calorie counter and macro counter. I tend to sabotage myself later in the day when my guard is down… I know I need to tweak my calorie intake during the day but for now I’d like to get control of the appetite and cravings. What do you suggest? I read that BCAAs would help with muscle retention, appetite suppression and cravings… I am taking CLA now. Thanks

The combination drug Qsymia (phentermine and topiramate) increases the risk of birth defects. Thus, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) required the manufacturer to have a risk evaluation and mitigation strategy (REMS). The REMS is intended to alert women to the risks and explain the need to avoid becoming pregnant while taking Qsymia. In addition, Qsymia is considered a controlled substance because one of its ingredients — phentermine — has the potential for abuse.

“You can’t just say, ‘I want to lose weight…someday.’ It’s that kind of loose talk, without a fence or guideline, that discourages you from getting started and prevents you from succeeding. The way I did it was by tying it to an upcoming event in my life. I never focused on a number and I didn’t set out to lose a certain number of pounds per week or overall. I merely found a target date a year away and I proclaimed to myself that I’d be in better shape by then. — Maria Menounos, author of The Everygirl’s Guide to Diet and Fitness, on how she lost 40 pounds
The Paleo Diet (Free) is not intended to be a weight loss diet, per se, but rather a way of eating that is meant to be permanent. In many Paleo protocols, there is a strong emphasis on grass-fed or organic foods, which can be pricey and may not be readily available to some, but other programs recommend that you just purchase the highest quality of food you can afford. Exercise is strongly encouraged. You don’t count calories; you just eat until you’re satiated.

Weight-loss medications aren’t for everyone with a high BMI. Some people who are overweight or obese may lose weight with a lifestyle program that helps them change their behaviors and improve their eating and physical activity habits. A lifestyle program may also address other factors that affect weight gain, such as eating triggers and not getting enough sleep.

They all slept and felt better and had more energy and fewer cravings.
